Dr. Beth Haynes, MD, BRI executive director, will speak on poverty as the major determinant of health, and how markets are the best way to alleviate poverty.

POST-EVENT SUMMARY: Thirty-five students attended Dr. Haynes’s talks on the benefits of free markets for healthcare. She distinctly highlighted the failures of our current policies and the successes of free markets in regards to healthcare, poverty levels and economics. Dr. Haynes spoke to both the Dublin and Athens campuses.
