Event Summary:
Dr. Rybicki gave a 30 minute speech about his career and life. He mentioned that he transitioned to the DPC model (as a member of SignatureMD) due to a need in lifestyle change. After health complications led him to re-prioritize his life, he decided that he wanted to spend more time with patients and have more flexibility in his schedule for charity, research, and family. He also summarized some of the business details about his practice functions.
After his presentation, students were allowed to ask questions. There were non-stop questions until 12:45pm, at which point, Dr. Rybicki said that he had to leave but would be willing to come back again! There were more questions at this event by far, compared to any of our events and most of the events that I have attended–students were very intrigued!
The number of attendees exceeded our expectations–only 12 RSVPs, but 26 attended. Lunch was served, and Benjamin Rush Institute brochures were made available.
