All are welcome to attend UAB-BRI’s free lecture with Matthew Davis, MD, an orthopedic surgeon who practices fee-for-service medicine and publishes all prices per procedure for patients. Discussion will be about pros and cons of fee-for-service structure from a physician and patient perspective. We will also be discussing the benefits of practicing outside the purview of Medicare/Medicaid and how that has freed Dr. Davis’s practice to grow and made it easier for him to help more patients.
