Dr. Josh Umbehr from Wichita, Kansas will be in DC this Friday, Nov. 6, to speak about his creative — and increasingly spreading — approach to addressing the pressing issues of the need for medical practice innovation, patient advocacy, and workable healthcare solutions. "Dr. Josh" began AtlasMD, a direct-primary care practice, in which patients pay a modest monthly fee and in return have nearly unlimited access to primary care. This model allows doctors to have fewer patients than average, meaning more time for doctors and patients to interact. He will speak to why Direct Primary care may be the answer to better healthcare in the US.
